I'm fascinated by the tension between the past and present – how generational wounds are passed from one person to the next, like a hand intertwining strands of hair, a ritual of care, with the unspoken woven in. Inspired by Jung's concept of shadow work, this image plays with the idea that the hand untangling these strands is a shadow, and through this work, these cycles and knots could be undone.
